Parts ClerkThe Parts Clerk is responsible for issuing parts, tools and supplies; process cores and warranties, inventory control, receive inventory and stock shelves. The Parts Clerk is also responsible for practicing safe work habits and for maintaining a clean and safe workplace environment.ResponsibilitiesDistributes/stores and maintains inventories of parts tools and equipmentCharge out issued parts in M5, and search uncommon partsProperly disburse empty packing, pallets, boxes, etc.Update out-of-service bus report (EIC2960) and check track order statusFill orders, pack and ship transfers, complete transfer orders online by UPS and GPXPerform forklift inspection on each shiftPerform weekly SOQ orders with Supervisor, perform SOQ cycle counts, call FGA help desk to receive permission to purchase items not in Purchase Guide Book, perform weekly cycle countsMaintain core and warranty paper work, process warranty claims, process cores for shippingPerform fluid and gas inventory and order as neededProcess invoices for payment and proper receiving, filing of all completed paper workRequest part numbers to be created or modifiedGeneral storeroom housekeepingEnsures safe use of all shop equipmentCommunicates professionally with team members, supervisors, and customersActively participates in safety or educational training as requiredIn the event of a fuel or fluid spills, takes all necessary steps to contain the spillFollows all safety standards & guidelines, including but not limited to, wearing of safety glasses, wearing of steel-toed/safety shoes, appropriate safety gloves as needed, and proper attirePerforms any other management requests or directives as requestedQualificationsHigh School DiplomaValid drivers license requiredOne to three years of warehouse inventory and distribution.Data entry: Typing at least 15 wpmSome computer skill requiring basic data entry into maintenance databaseMust be able to speak and read conversational EnglishBenefitsComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company-matched contributionsCompany-sponsored life insurancePaid vacation, holidays, and sick daysFree travel on GreyhoundUnion membership & representationCareer Advancement OpportunitiesCompensation RangeUSD $21.22 - USD $21.22 /Hr.Equal Opportunity EmployerGreyhound is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
