What You'll Do

Build gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls with speed, consistency and care
Follow recipes and portioning standards while bringing your own passion to every plate
Keep your station clean, stocked and guest-ready at all times
Work in sync with your teammates to keep the line moving smoothly
Maintain food safety and quality standards on every order
Jump in wherever the team needs you

What You Bring

A love for food and a high standard for quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs
Reliability and a positive, team-first attitude
Prior kitchen or food service experience a plus — but we'll train the right person!

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients — all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.

Requirements:

Able to communicate effectively and clearly with team – Bilingual a plus
Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
