Shift: Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00 19:30 / Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30

Registered Nurse – Stepdown Unit

Work Schedule

• Auto-offer position (qualified candidates may be automatically accepted)
• Shift: 3x12-hour shifts only
• Rotating day/night shifts: 07:00–19:30 / 19:00–07:30
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs (facility may adjust rotation if required)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 months combined experience in the specialty applying for
  • Preferably within one facility, but combined experience accepted
• Minimum 18 months recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required
• Travel experience accepted
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not mandatory

Licensure Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license OR Compact RN license in hand required

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA or client-approved)
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Patient Care & Unit Information

• Stepdown / Progressive Care patient population
• May float to other units with similar patient acuity, including:
  • Stepdown/Progressive Care units
  • Additional inpatient units
  • Emergency Department (for same patient population care)

Floating Policy

• Required to float to other units as needed based on hospital operational needs
• Floating may include similar acuity units across the facility

Scheduling & Holidays

• Must work every other holiday minimum

Orientation Requirements

• ECG rhythm recognition test required
• SafeMedicate assessment required
• Passing scores on both are mandatory for continuation
