Quick Facts Location: 1900 Columbus Avenue, Bay City, MI Start Date: 03/01/2026 End Date: 12/28/2026 Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am 7:00 am (24-hour coverage); Friday, 7:00 am 7:00 pm (12-hour shift) Hours/Week: Flexible based on schedule Employment Type: Locum Licenses/Certs: Michigan medical license, Board Certified in Gastroenterology, ERCP experience required Experience Required: Prior GI practice experience; hospitalist support available Travel & Reimbursements: Includes licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (rate to be discussed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Additional benefits: Malpractice coverage, orientation rate, holiday pay, on-call and callback rates, and holiday rates (rates to be discussed upon application) What You ll Do Provide 24-hour call coverage for gastroenterology services in a hospital setting Perform ERCP procedures and manage patient care related to GI issues Collaborate with hospitalists, colorectal surgeons, and GI clinic staff Support outpatient GI clinic located nearby Participate in diagnostic and screening procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, biopsies, and MRI where applicable Be available for scheduled shifts and emergency call as needed What You Need Valid Michigan medical license Board certification in Gastroenterology Minimum of 2+ years of GI practice experience ERCP certification/experience Strong procedural skills, excellent communication, and teamwork skills Ability to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital environment About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Bay City, Michigan, offering a small-town atmosphere with access to waterfront amenities and big-city conveniences.
