Job Info Job Location: Signal Hill , California Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Dedicated Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: No-touch freight TWIC Card Required Additional Information CDL A Driver - Port and Yard Operations - $33 Per Hour Night Shift Job Details We are hiring a CDL A Driver for Port and Yard Operations in Compton, California, offering $33 per hour. This position involves local deliveries with a focus on safety and efficiency in handling equipment. You will enjoy the benefit of being home daily, supported by a dedicated TransForce team that prioritizes your needs and safety. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $33 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift: Night Shift (5 PM - 3 AM) Home Daily What You'll Be Doing Transporting and repositioning containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities. Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documenting conditions of equipment. Utilizing technology for real-time tracking and communication regarding assignments and updates. Assisting warehouse personnel with strategic trailer placement when needed.
