Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a high-volume Emergency Department float pool setting
• Primarily care for boarder patients, which may include med/surg, stepdown, and ICU-level patients
• Float to acute care units as needed based on staffing demands
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications and apply competencies in a fast-paced trauma environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similarly sized Level 1 Trauma facility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Resume must reflect continuous employment with no unexplained gaps

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing boarder patients across multiple acuity levels (med/surg, stepdown, ICU)
• Comfort and flexibility floating to various acute care units as needed
• Strong emergency department clinical skill set with verifiable ED references
