Qualifications

Required:

• Commercial Driver's License
• Physical health and ability to perform tasks related to the job (physical examination required)
• Ability to work well with staff, students and public
• Aptitude for the successful completion of assigned duties

Preferred:

• High school diploma

Performance Responsibilities

A. Drive school bus for school routes as assigned B. Drive school bus for field trips as required C. Maintain a proper discipline on routes D. Report infraction of rules by passengers to proper authorities E. Obey all traffic laws F. Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school bus G. Assist when possible, staff members and chaperones to make field trips successful H. Report all accidents and complete required reports I. Complete necessary forms—check off sheets, log sheets, daily and field trip, time sheets J. Notify supervisor in case of mechanical failure K. Sweep bus daily L. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
