Job Opportunity

This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate, returning to standard amounts after February 27. Cancellation due to a rate change after signature may result in a system DNR.

Shift Details

• Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (14:00 - 02:30)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Local Radius: 50 miles
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, with 6-8 shifts per contract

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, PALS

Position Responsibilities

The role may require floating between like units, including pediatrics, with support available when necessary.

Skills and Experience

Preferred skills and experience include:

• Charge Experience
• Trauma Level I & II Experience
• Emergency Department Experience
• Management of Arterial lines and Ventilators
• Central line care and IV management
• Knowledge of stroke and trauma protocols
• Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• Phlebotomy skills
