Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a dedicated elementary student near Poughkeepsie, NY. Key requirements:
- Active New York SLP license
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach, able to coordinate with educators, families, and district staff
Role highlights:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to one elementary school student
- Provide five 30-minute sessions per week, tailored to the student’s specific needs
- Serve one convenient school location with approximately five hours per week
- Complete session notes, progress reports, and collaborate for IEP compliance
- Interact with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive support
- Maintain confidentiality according to school and state guidelines
