Afternoon Shift | 8-Hour Shifts

Canton Christian Home is looking for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living team on afternoon shift . If you're passionate about providing exceptional care in a warm, resident-focused environment, we'd love to meet you!

Position Details

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Department: Assisted Living
Shift: Afternoons (8-hour shifts)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Canton Christian Home – Canton, Ohio

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
Assess residents and report changes in condition to the appropriate provider.
Supervise and support Resident Care Assistants (RCAs) and nursing assistants.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
Promote a safe, clean, and caring environment for all residents.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining dignity and respect.

Qualifications

Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Previous Assisted Living or Long-Term Care experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Dependable with excellent attendance.
