Promotions & Events Internship

Essential Functions Support the planning and marketing of station programs, projects, and events. Key Responsibilities Create social media content to support various projects and program goals, including classics requests, 21st Show engagement, sessions from Studio A awareness, listener comments series/testimonials, Under Rocks, and Teachers’ Lounge. Research, compile, and organize databases of interest groups to maximize engagement. Write email campaigns to achieve goals such as donations, engagement, and survey participation. Identify strategies to grow email subscribers for interest groups. Identify and plan opportunities to promote station services. Assist with volunteer expansion programs. Represent station at community events. Identify social and digital communities to expand event reach. Coordinate logistics and communication plans for events. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and writing skills; adherence to deadlines; ability to multi-task. Working knowledge of MS Office, Canva, and social media channels. Experience working with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
