Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in inpatient and outpatient environments and formulate tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to achieve optimal outcomes
• Provide education to patients and families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercises
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in adherence to facility and regulatory standards
• Contribute to care team discussions and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient management

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurological or geriatric care) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
