Desired qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in an upscale high-volume restaurant
• Prepare and plate hot and cold dishes while maintaining Makoto's high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation

• Receive deliveries, stock and rotate products, and maintain a clean and sanitary workstation in accordance with Health Department and STARR Restaurants standards

• Follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen procedures with precision while working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Recent culinary school graduates or candidates with at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience are encouraged to apply
  • Japanese cuisine or fine dining experience is a plus
