Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours
Schedule: Variable day shifts including:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Location: Akron, Ohio
Call Requirement: Yes

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a busy procedural care environment in Akron, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong endoscopy experience and be comfortable with procedural sedation, patient monitoring, and on-call responsibilities.

RequirementsExperience

Minimum 18 months of Endoscopy RN experience required prior to travel assignments

Required Licensure & Certifications

Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
ACLS
BLS

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for endoscopy patients before, during, and after procedures
Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation
Perform patient assessments and documentation
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery care
Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards
