Senior Business Systems Analyst / Product Analyst - Asset Management

Senior Business Systems Analyst / Product Analyst – Asset Management We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Product Analyst with deep expertise in Asset Management, Investment Performance, Attribution, and Benchmark Data to join a high-impact transformation initiative supporting front-to-back office investment operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business analysis, agile delivery, data analytics, and investment technology while partnering closely with portfolio management, performance, and risk teams. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops across front, middle, and back-office teams Translate complex investment management workflows into detailed user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria Support investment performance calculations, attribution analysis, benchmark data, reconciliation, and reporting processes Own and manage product backlog activities in partnership with Product Owners Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement Coordinate delivery across data engineering, analytics, QA, and business teams Perform hands-on SQL-based data analysis, validation, and reconciliation Build reporting dashboards and visualizations using Power BI Drive adoption of AI-assisted SDLC practices including AI-driven documentation, testing, and requirements generation Required Experience 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role within Asset Management or Financial Services Strong understanding of asset classes and investment instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, ETFs, and alternatives Strong Agile / Scrum delivery experience Hands-on SQL expertise for data validation and analysis Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working directly with portfolio, performance, or risk teams Preferred Skills Python scripting or data automation Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks Familiarity with JIRA or Azure DevOps CFA / CIPM / CAIA certifications or progress toward designation Understanding of performance metrics such as TWR, MWR, Sharpe Ratio, Tracking Error, and VaR #J-18808-Ljbffr Aptonet
