Our ideal candidate is seeking challenging work and is committed to quality.Your ImpactWork collaboratively with team members on water resources focused projects in mining, local government, transportation, and other sectors supporting our hydraulics and hydrology groups across the West region.Will lead or perform hydrologic assessment, water balance modelling, stormwater management planning, erosion and sediment control planning, NPDES permit support studies and FEMA flood plain mapping.Mentor and oversee the development of junior staff.Travel to project sites and attend public meetings. Approximately 5% overnight travel.Lead business development and strategy planningProject Management including scope, budget, schedule and resource managementManage and coordinate project teams, including ensuring the technical quality of deliverables.Collaborate and participate in technical discussions with team members.Who You AreRequirementsBS in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related engineering degree required, MS preferred.PE preferredMinimum 10 years + of hydrology / hydraulics and water resources experienceStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsProject management experienceExperience leading proposal management and developmentDemonstrated success in business development and client managementStrong technical skills regarding hydrologic and hydraulic modelling approaches and commonly used softwareFamiliarity with the National Flood Insurance Program and FEMA flood insurance study regulations.Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.#LI-SR1About WSPWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
