Complete Staffing is seeking a mid-career experienced Network & Infrastructure Administrator/Engineer to support the operational technology (OT) infrastructure of a large, nationwide manufacturing organization. This role is on-site in Overland Park, KS and is a 6 month contract to hire.

This individual will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and server infrastructure supporting manufacturing plants across the United States.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Cisco networking, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation, complemented by solid experience supporting Windows Server and virtualized server environments.

This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, supporting business-critical environments, and working across both networking and server technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network and server infrastructure supporting manufacturing plant operations.
• Support Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, network segmentation, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure to support reliable plant operations.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2019 through 2025.
• Support virtualized server environments utilizing VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Troubleshoot complex network and server issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support both existing infrastructure and new deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with internal IT, OT, and plant operations teams to maintain infrastructure availability, performance, and security.
• Assist with infrastructure documentation, standardization, and ongoing improvements across multiple manufacturing locations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in network infrastructure engineering, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure, preferably including Windows Server 2019 or newer.
• Experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Ability to configure and deploy infrastructure as well as support and troubleshoot existing environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with geographically dispersed technical and operational teams across various plant operations.
• Experience supporting environments where network reliability, uptime, and infrastructure stability are critical.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting operational technology (OT), industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting infrastructure across multiple facilities or geographically dispersed locations.
• Familiarity with network security best practices and segmentation in industrial environments.
• Experience with both VMware and Hyper-V.
• Relevant Cisco or Microsoft certifications.
