Job Opportunity

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week

Call Requirement: Call is required every third weekend, with call days in between (usually 1-2 days during the week).

Job Description

We are seeking a Cath Lab Technician with Interventional Radiology (IR) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with patients undergoing heart catheterization procedures and pacemaker insertions.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• EPIC Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience with the EPIC documentation system.
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS

Skills

• Angioplasty
• Cardiac Stent Placement
• Carotid Angiography
• Carotid Stenting
• Central Venous Access/Port Placement
• Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
• IABP Placement/Removal
• Impella Insertion
• Left Heart Catheterization
• Pacemaker Insertion
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
• Right Heart Catheterization
• Ventricular Assist Device Insertion

Patient Care Focus

The candidate will work with patients who undergo heart catheterizations, including right heart procedures, pacemaker insertions, and low-risk percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).

Unit Information

Our unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams, including:

• Respiratory Services
• Radiology
• Rapid Response Teams
• Transportation

Additional Details

Weekend coverage involves every third weekend with the possibility of variations based on patient and facility needs.

Orientation hours will be provided, amounting to 16 hours, and all staff must be prepared to float to different units as required.
