Job Summary

Endoscopy Technician, Endoscopy Tech — Frisco, TX. The Endoscopy Technician supports technical procedures, patient care services, equipment preparation, decontamination, and room turnover under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role requires experience with upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures, advanced cases, and endoscopy equipment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (AHA) certification required; high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential; minimum of 2 years of experience with upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures, scope decontamination, Medivator use, Olympus scopes, advanced cases, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), bronchoscopes, food bolus procedures, gastrointestinal bleeds, and SpyGlass.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; rotating call coverage is required for 15 days per month, including weekends and holidays.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment safely; assisting physicians and clinical staff with procedures using aseptic techniques and standard precautions; preparing patients, procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies; transporting carts; observing patients and reporting changes in condition; cleaning rooms and transporting soiled equipment for decontamination; maintaining inventory; restocking supplies; performing equipment quality checks; and cleaning and disinfecting specialty equipment. Navy blue or black scrubs are required, and operating room scrubs are available for use. The assignment is scheduled from 11/02/2026 through 11/29/2026, with the possibility of extension.
