Occupational Therapist (OT) - Acute Care Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Monday - Friday with rotating weekends every 4 weeks. Adjusted start times may vary. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with acute care experience, preferably with Level I trauma experience, to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will adhere to department guidelines and provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in departmental meetings and training as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience (within the last 12 months). Active occupational therapy license with no hits on state license to practice. Life support certifications (e.g., BLS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI are required.
