The Quality Control Lead plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and consistency across production operations at Mint Cannabis's Florida facilities. This role supports the company's Compliance team by overseeing GMP adherence, managing supplier quality documentation, and assisting with BioTrack reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. Ready to grow with us? Let's make it happen.What You'll DoConduct daily inspections of production areas, in Arcadia, FL, to evaluate GMP, adherence to SOPs and state regulations.Identify quality issues early and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actionsEnsure adherence to state cannabis regulations, GMP, and internal quality proceduresMaintain detailed and accurate records of reports, inspections, findings, and corrective actionsSupport internal and external audits, including documentation prep and follow-upMonitor seed-to-sale systems, labeling, and processing packaging and testingAssist with staff training on quality protocols and best practicesCollaborate with processing, manufacturing, and compliance teams to resolve quality concernsCommunicate issues clearly to leadership and contribute to process improvementsWhat You'll Bring2+ years of experience in quality control in a production / manufacturing environment — cannabis industry experienceStrong understanding of GMP standards in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity and previous participation in state-run compliance auditsExceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracyStrong communication and organizational skillsProficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with digital logging platformsFamiliarity with Florida cannabis regulationsMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent credential) per Florida regulationsMust pass a background check and fingerprint clearanceWhy You'll Love Mint CannabisA work culture that's welcoming, passionate, and built on good vibesOpportunities for growth as we expand into new marketsDiscounts on products and merchHealth, dental, and vision benefits (for eligible roles)Paid time off to relax, recharge, and take care of youA chance to be part of something amaZingA Few Things You'll NeedMust meet all applicable Florida state requirements to work in a licensed medical cannabis facilityAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsWillingness to work in grow/production environments with varying temperatures and humidityAbility to travel in-state to support other Mint facilities as neededMay require the use of PPE in clean rooms or other controlled areasAbout Mint CannabisMint Cannabis, founded in 2016, is dedicated to providing affordable, patient-focused care while empowering our team to grow professionally and support our communities.
