Interior Designer - Mid-Level - Hospitality Full-time position located onsite in Venice, CA. No remote work. Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. STUDIO COLLECTIVE, an award-winning boutique design agency in the heart of Venice, CA, excels in crafting coveted hospitality destinations throughout the United States and around the globe. We are seeking a creative, passionate Mid-Level Interior Designer with the ability to wear several hats, work collaboratively with other designers and consultants, and most importantly, lead their own design projects with a sense of ownership, integrity and responsibility. Job Description You will act as a project designer working under the Principal(s) and/or Senior Designer's creative direction. Success in this role requires a minimum of 3‑6 years hospitality-specific experience. Strong FF&E experience is a plus. Day-to-day Responsibilities Co-management of project design team deliverables with project presentations (computer and hand rendered) under direction of senior designer Frequent communication with project team, clients, consultants, vendors and contractors Budget creation, ordering, expediting, and scheduling Sample procurement, purchase order issuance and tracking Creation of FF&E spec books Interior project drawing sets and sketches Construction administration during the build-out process Help create and track purchase orders as needed Attend project meetings and site visits Act as the studio’s liaison with vendors and contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to check progress of fabrication and construction Coordinate and assist with on-site project installations Manage or liaise with other office personnel, including project design team members, runners and interns Requirements 3‑6 years experience in interior design, primarily hospitality-focused Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency Exceptional communication skills 3‑D Sketch‑Up/Rasterizing capabilities and Spanish speaking/communicating a plus Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Full health benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision) Two weeks paid vacation, which increases with tenure Flexible schedule 401‑K savings plan Quarterly team building trips and educational functions Travel based on project placement A true collaborative design studio experience, where all ideas are welcome and everyone is encouraged to contribute to the design process, regardless of experience or position Preferred candidates are currently authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship is available. #J-18808-Ljbffr SupportFinity™
