Associate Director of Business Development (Hybrid)

Requirements and Capabilities Director, Undersea Programs Location: Jacksonville, FL (BLDG 101) or Arlington, VA – hybrid schedule; onsite working as business needs dictate. Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; active Secret clearance necessary from day one. Salary Range: $157,200 – $298,800 USD. Responsibilities Identify, develop and assess new undersea opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and U.S. government counterparts. Provide subject‑matter expertise on U.S. and international procurement processes and acquisition strategy. Participate in the development of strategic and country plans. Prepare and request international licensing agreements. Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) on federal, state, local public policy and technology advocacy. Travel approximately 30% domestic and international. Qualifications – Must Have University degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in U.S. Navy requirements, acquisition, and/or program management. Navy experience with submarines and undersea operations; submarine‑qualified officer preferred. Expertise in Navy undersea combat systems. Qualifications – Preferred Experience with undersea sensors, effectors, & sonar array systems. Submarine command experience. Strategic thinking with a proven track record of developing innovative solutions for maritime warfighting capabilities. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and commitment to mission success.
