Practice: Well Life ABQ & The Injection and Infusion Clinic of ABQ

Position Type: Part-Time / PRN (1 Day / Week or Coverage Basis)

We are seeking an experienced, warm, and open-minded Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for 1-day-per-week or PRN coverage role. We want someone who truly cares about patients, follows up, follows through, and goes the extra mile when a patient needs it.

What You’ll Do

Your core focus will be delivering primary care, direct primary care (DPC) consults, wellness assessments, and minor acute care. As you complete clinic training, you may also perform or oversee specialty services including IV nutrient infusions, peptide therapy, hormone replacement therapy (including pellet insertions), shockwave therapy, and non-injectable aesthetics (microneedling, chemical peels, etc).

• Direct Patient Management: Provide comprehensive, unhurried care for patients of all ages.
• Follow-Through & Clean Handoffs: Ensure patient needs are addressed thoroughly during your shift. For ongoing needs extending between shifts, you can cleanly hand off follow-ups to the Primary NP or Clinical Director—or flag items to pick back up on your next scheduled shift when the timeline is appropriate.
• Team Leadership & Delegation: Evaluate patients, issue treatment orders, and provide clear, guidance to our skilled RN and support staff.
• EHR Documentation: Initiate encounter notes in real time during or immediately after visits. Administrative time is baked directly into your shift schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered New Mexico Nurse Practitioner License.
• Prescribing Credentials: Active New Mexico Controlled Substance License (CSL) and Federal DEA Registration.
• Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications or ability to obtain.
• Compliance: Clear background check.
