Radiation Therapist - IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT Experience Required

AM shift, 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday

The Radiation Therapist will accurately deliver planned courses of radiation therapy, operating treatment units with minimal supervision while maintaining communication with patients. Responsibilities include performing daily and monthly linac and CT QA, as well as executing IGRT and SBRT treatments effectively.

Accurately deliver radiation therapy and operate treatment units independently.

Perform daily linac and CT QA and monthly CT QA.

CT/simulate patients for radiation therapy following established protocols.

Construct immobilization devices and utilize IV contrast for simulations when necessary.

Train all therapists in CT/simulation procedures, including SBRT simulation and respiratory gating.

Maintain records in MOSAIQ, including treatment management and verification assessments.

Follow departmental policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and the ALARA principle.

Safely operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and document treatment shifts in MOSAIQ.

Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy.

ARRT certified and registered.

Experience with IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT preferred.
