Underwriting Assistant

Supporting the Inland Marine team remotely, the full-time Underwriting Assistant will manage the processing of policies and endorsements, assist underwriters with quoting and binding coverage, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with state requirements. Key responsibilities Process new business submissions, renewals, and endorsements for inland marine accounts using AAIS forms Assist underwriters in gathering necessary information to expedite submissions and maintain policy files Track renewal timelines and coordinate with agents and brokers for policy status updates and documentation requests Required qualifications 3+ years of experience as an Underwriting Assistant with Inland Marine coverages Hands-on experience with AAIS forms and a solid understanding of policy issuance and endorsement processing Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Virtual Vocations Inc
