Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a 3rd Shift Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Oil City, PA

Pay Range: $16hr

Shift: 6:30am to 3pm Monday thru Friday

What's the Job?

• Audit, test, and measure finished goods to ensure compliance with customer standards and company policies.
• Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and product quality.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals for analysis.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging, and loading to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Communicate quality issues and out-of-specification conditions to relevant personnel and shift leaders.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience in quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and metrology skills including calibration.
• Good computer skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality operating systems.
