Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The position involves working 10-hour night shifts on a 7 days on/7 days off basis, amounting to 35 hours per week. The role is based in a facility with four CT rooms, and the average patient volume is around 130 patients in a 24-hour period.

• Trauma
• Stroke
• Emergency Room
• Adults
• Pediatrics
• Geriatrics
• Level II Trauma (both adult and pediatric)

Qualifications:

• Required License: ARRT (CT), BLS
• WA State Tech License
• 2-3 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Skills required: Trauma experience and IV insertion proficiency.

Unit Support:

The unit is equipped with a lead tech available from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring strong support. Depending on the shift, there are typically 2-5 CT Techs present. Radiologists are off-site at night, while daytime and evening shifts have dedicated transporters. Night shifts will require teamwork with ER and inpatient staff to bring patients to the department.

Technology and Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• PACS: McKesson
• Equipment: Siemens (travelers should have experience with this equipment)

Orientation:

New hires will undergo a department orientation primarily on day shifts for 1-2 weeks.

Scheduling and Availability:

• Weekend rotation is possible.
• Holiday work may be required if it falls on a scheduled shift.
• RTO requests should be approved through management.

Other Notes:

• Scrubs: Any solid color, professional attire is acceptable.
• Parking: Free parking available in the parking garage.
