About American Guard Services (AGS)
American Guard Services is seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team at a cargo facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to safety, security, and providing exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure cargo facility premises.
- Control access and verify credentials of visitors, vendors, and employees.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections.
- Respond to incidents and document activities accurately.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity.
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Follow all site-specific security procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Security Guard License (Guard Card)
- Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- Previous security experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends
Schedule
- Full-Time Position
- AM & PM shifts available
- Must be available to work weekends and various days as needed
Pay & Benefits
- $17.00 per hour
