Housekeeping Manager

Summary Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, meets with vendors to discuss and determine which will be used in the facility inside and outside maintenance personnel Train housekeeping staff as well as gaining up-to-date knowledge through seminars, etc. Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside Oversee all operations for housekeeping at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and post-event Able to function as a manager when needed Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary Enforce all policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Essential Duties And Responsibilities Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, meets with vendors to discuss and determine which will be used in the facility inside and outside maintenance personnel Train housekeeping staff as well as gaining up-to-date knowledge through seminars, etc. Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside Oversee all operations for housekeeping at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and post-event Able to function as a manager when needed Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary Enforce all policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must successfully pass a criminal background check Must have knowledge of staffing requirements Strong communication and organizational skills for planning coverage around events required Fluency in English and Spanish preferred Knowledge of management principles and procedures as relates to personnel deployment and utilization Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience Supervisory experience preferred Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
