Director, Industry Membership

As Director, Industry Membership , you'll lead membership growth and strategic partnerships while cultivating relationships with senior executives and industry leaders. Who You Are You have 10+ years of experience in fundraising, membership, media sales, business development, or strategic partnerships Proven ability to build and manage executive-level relationships that drive revenue and long-term engagement Strong presentation, communication, and business writing skills Strategic, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch environment Experienced leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple priorities Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office; Airtable and Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred Bachelor's degree required; Spanish fluency is a plus What You'll Do Develop and execute strategies to grow industry memberships and strengthen corporate partnerships Cultivate relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders across the media, entertainment, technology, and business communities Represent the organization at industry events, networking opportunities, and executive programs Research market trends and identify opportunities for new partnerships and member engagement Collaborate with senior leadership on outreach strategies, presentations, marketing materials, and membership initiatives Track membership activity, analyze results, and recommend strategies to expand engagement and retention Lead and mentor a membership professional while supporting organization-wide development initiatives What Success Looks Like Industry membership and strategic partnerships continue to grow year over year Executive relationships translate into increased engagement, visibility, and revenue The organization is recognized as a trusted convener and thought leader across the media and entertainment industries Membership initiatives are executed with exceptional professionalism, organization, and measurable results Salary Range: $135,000 - 150,000 annually, based on experience Location: New York, NY -- On site Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
