Program Assistant Salary / Pay Rate: $16.83 per hour Job Type: Part Time Post Date: 05/26/2026 3:20 PM Expire Date: 06/09/2026 The Program Assistant assists Parks and Recreation staff in various areas including athletics, camps, recreation activities, and events by providing onsite program supervision; organizing and distributing programming supplies; assisting with the implementation of various programs; and assisting with supervision of participants. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or GED Minimum age of 18 Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification upon hire Schedule Monday - Friday 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday AM, Sunday PM. 10-20 hours per week.
