Warehouse Associate (Full-Time & Part-Time Openings)

Location: Allentown, PA (6950 Ambassador Dr.)

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our operations team in Allentown, PA. We have immediate openings for both Full-Time and Part-Time shifts.

In this role, you will be responsible for outbound order fulfillment (picking, checking, packing, and staging) and inbound shipment processing (receiving, put-away, and inventory audits). You will work in a fast-paced distribution environment, handling specialized materials in compliance with internal standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and hazardous materials regulations.

• Full-Time Warehouse Associate
• • Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Status: Active Opening
• Part-Time Warehouse Associate
• • Pay Rate: $22.00 / hour
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM (20 hours/week)
  • Status: Urgent Hire / Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Outbound Packing

• Accurately select and pull items from warehouse stock locations using designated equipment (picking carts, manual/electric pallet jacks) based on weight and dimension.
• Cross-check items against packing slips and documentation, verifying catalog numbers, lot numbers, unit sizes, weights, chemical designations, and special customer requests.
• Pack materials securely according to established standard operating procedures and hazardous materials compliance protocols.
• Apply correct shipping documentation, warnings, hazard markings, and tracking labels to outbound cartons.
• Stage completed, inspected packages in designated metering and outbound staging zones.

Inbound Receiving & Inventory Control

• Unload, inspect, verify, and unpack incoming freight and deliveries.
• Restock products into correct warehouse bin and racking locations.
• Utilize SAP / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track, receive, order, and store inventory accurately.
• Conduct routine shelf maintenance, cycle counts, and audits to maintain inventory integrity and correct bin locations.

Safety, Facility & General Operations

• Maintain clean, organized work areas by removing packaging debris, pallets, and trash from aisles and workstations.
• Ensure packing materials, tools, and material handling equipment are stored safely and properly maintained.
• Follow all workplace safety standards, chemical environment guidelines, and company operating policies.
• Perform additional operational duties and warehouse projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior warehouse picking and packing experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is required.
• Systems & Equipment:
• Hands-on proficiency with handheld RF scanners, desktop PCs, monitors, and barcode/office printers.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, order-picking carts, tape dispensers, and cutting instruments.
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is strongly preferred.
• Communication & Detail:
• Strong English communication skills (written, spoken, and reading comprehension) to interpret technical packing lists, safety data, and shipping guidelines.
• High attention to detail with proven accuracy in reading alphanumeric codes (catalog numbers, lot numbers, SKU sequences).
• Attendance: Proven track record of punctuality, reliable transportation, and schedule adherence.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Prolonged standing and walking on concrete surfaces for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, reach above the shoulder, or crawl.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs unassisted, and greater than 50 lbs with team-lift assistance.
• Visual requirements include clear close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and focus adjustment.
• Sensory capabilities: Ability to hear, speak, smell, and taste as needed for safety and chemical environmental awareness.
• Prolonged typing, reading computer screens, and operating handheld technology.

Dress Code & PPE Requirements

• Company-Provided PPE: High-visibility safety vest, safety glasses, and protective gloves.
• Employee-Provided Footwear: Steel-toe or composite safety-toe work shoes/boots (required upon arrival).
• Acceptable Attire: Jeans, khakis, standard T-shirts, collared/polo shirts, blouses, sweaters, and crew-neck sweatshirts.
• Prohibited Attire: Hooded sweatshirts (hoodies), tank tops, sweatpants, athletic leggings, shorts, and torn or frayed clothing. Zippered jackets without hoods are permitted.
• Safety Protocols: Long hair must be securely tied back when operating or working near warehouse machinery.
