Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• MLT or MLS ASCP, or equivalent, required.
• Minimum 12 months of Medical Lab Tech / MLT / MLS experience required.
• Microbiology equipment experience or knowledge with Cepheid and Bactec required.
• Chemistry equipment experience or knowledge with Roche required.

Assignment Details

• Monday - Friday.
• 2p - 10p.
• 40 hrs/week.
• Holiday rotation required.
• No call.
• No weekends.
