Job DescriptionRequires specialized expertise in supply chain to enable continuity of supply and assist smooth transition from concept to volume manufacturing for NPI programs. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Requires guidance in only the most complex situations.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsures that key supply chain metrices are met for all NPT programsProvide visibility on critical supply continuity challenges by creating and maintaining heat maps and defining mitigation strategies to best meet current and forecasted demandDevise plans to overcome material shortages by executing strategic buys/overplansAnalyze process maps for critical/complex long lead components; collaborates to implement mitigation strategiesTactical proficiency with Applied applications including, but not limited to SAP, SCV, Teamcenter etcCollaborate with engineering to ensure BOM accuracyCollaborate with NPI team to set program development/transition deliverables and provide status on completions prior to phase 5 exitExecute supply strategies to meet demand changes through S&OP cycleTimely disposition of parts to actively manage the program inventory.Conducts supplier shortages meetings to ensure accurate delivery commits for manufacturingReview CRNs (Change request notifications) and make recommendations to material availability to ensure a smooth production process.Functional KnowledgeApplies knowledge of supply chain processes and materials management tools under leadership guidance.Business ExpertiseGathers and shares program -specific supply chain information to assist leadership in resolving issues.Interpersonal SkillsCommunicates clearly with cross functional teams to collect data and share updates.Escalates issues promptly and provide clear supporting information for leadership review.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business with emphasis on Supply Chain preferred3-5 years of relevant experience.MBA is a plusAdditional InformationTime Type:Full timeEmployee Type:Assignee / RegularTravel:Yes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
