Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Plano, TX LabCorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team in Plano, TX. The position requires a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule with rotating Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm shifts as needed. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required analyses. Enter patient data accurately and promptly into the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1or more years of phlebotomy experience working in a clinical or hospital environment. 6months or more experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric–geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience is preferred. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, if work experience is not present. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
