The Heavy Assembler plays a crucial role within a large departmental team, focusing on various assembly tasks vital to production and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in handling heavy materials and equipment, operating hand and power tools, and performing mechanical fittings and welding support. The Heavy Assembler ensures that all assembled components meet quality standards through diligent inspection and precise blueprint reading.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately according to specifications
- Install equipment and perform mechanical fittings
- Support welding operations as needed
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints for assembly guidance
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Operate hand and power tools proficiently
