Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and operate enterprise platform services on Azure, including compute, storage, networking, and integration capabilities.
2. Develop and maintain reusable platform frameworks for ingestion, orchestration, automation, and workflow execution.
3. Build and support infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
4. Implement platform observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
5. Build secure, scalable, and resilient systems that meet defined SLAs and operational requirements.
6. Implement and support system integration patterns including APIs, event-driven architectures, and batch processing frameworks.
7. Partner with Data Engineering, Application Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.
8. Support onboarding of new technologies, business systems, and acquisitions onto the platform ecosystem.
9. Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
10. Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and engineering best practices.
11. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms on Azure.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Experience supporting distributed systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of networking, identity and access management, security controls, and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience implementing observability solutions including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
• Familiarity with modern integration patterns including APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics platforms, or integration platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Storage, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Fivetran, or similar platforms from an infrastructure and enablement perspective.
• Experience operating systems in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Wealth Management, Healthcare, or Insurance.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and multi-region deployments.
• Exposure to AI/ML platform infrastructure requirements.
• Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
