Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
• ARRT-N or NMTCB
• Experience with cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, gastric studies, DAT scans, lung scans/perfusions, GI bleeds, and administration of i131
• Experience handling radioactive isotopes

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0730-1600
• Shift Days: Monday - Friday
• On call required: 1 weeknight call shift per week from 1600-0700
• Weekend call required: 1 weekend of call per month from Friday through Monday 0700
• 30-minute response time when on call
• Floating required between clinic and main hospital area within the same building
