Field Service Representative

Field Service RepresentativeAs a Field Service Representative (FSR), you'll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, including catalytic oxidation, wastewater clarification, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), and filter press separation.Duties & Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performanceConduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipmentTake samples and support the Lab FSR in performing analytical testing such as: pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirementsSupport the Lab FSR in reviewing lab data and making appropriate process changes based upon plant conditions and laboratory resultsUtilize a forklift as needed for plant operations purposesMonitor, adjust, and maintain chemical injection systemsSupport the maintenance team in maintaining inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsCarry out mechanical, electrical, and control troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentationCreate and maintain site documentation, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performedConsult with shift lead and site managementEnsure contract compliance with volume and quality specificationsMeet customer access requirements to sitesOther duties as requiredData interpretation, record-keeping, reporting, and critical decision-making skillsThe job description is not designed to capture all of an employee's responsibilities but is intended to capture the essential functions of the role. Responsibilities may change over time and may be assigned at any time.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of basic wastewater or water treatmentKnowledge of preventative maintenance for pumps, bearings, blowers, and general rotating equipmentKnowledge of basic computer skillsProficient in Google Suite and/or related softwareExcellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate orally in English in a fluent mannerEducation & Experience:RequiredHigh School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent; 2+ years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environmentA valid driver's licensePreferredBachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in InstrumentationWorking Conditions:Work is performed primarily indoors in an industrial environmentThere are other typical industrial risks, and training will be provided as neededAdditional Information:Join a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect.
