Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist

Job Title: EHR Specialist – Federally Qualified Health Center Salary: $17 - $20 per hour Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) system Provide day‑to‑day support to clinical and administrative staff on EHR functionality and workflows Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies Assist with EHR system updates, upgrades, and optimization initiatives Train new staff and offer ongoing education on EHR best practices Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or IT teams as needed Run reports and support data extraction for clinical, operational, and compliance needs Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and enhance patient‑care delivery Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Electronic Health Records experience in a hospital, clinic, or nonprofit health setting Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and medical terminology Experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, etc. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient data privacy standards Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to train and support end‑users with varying technical proficiency Excellent communication and organizational skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
