Step into a rewarding role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving students for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity begins ASAP and offers the chance to make an immediate impact within a supportive educational environment. You'll work weekday hours, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., totaling 35 hours weekly. Compensation ranges from $50-$65 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
What we’re looking for:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Prior experience or strong interest in working within school settings
- Familiarity with common speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
- Ability to manage and balance a full caseload effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students
- Motivated, organized, and ready to start quickly
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide both individual and group therapy to address a range of speech and language issues
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure cohesive student support
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
