Requirements
- NY RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- EKG competency: must complete Relias EKG exam within 72 hours of signing; facility requires passing onsite EKG exam with a threshold typically of 85%

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.

Compliance / Notes
- Submit recent Nursys verification and certifications prior to start.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required for flu season starting 12/5. Medical/religious exemptions must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start for approval.
