Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an operating room setting
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt calmly to fast-paced and changing environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring patient safety
• Monitor patient status and document all care accurately
• Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the surgical experience
• Contribute to pre-op and post-op assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
