Litigation Secretary

Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire, Hybrid 1 day onsite LHH is partnering with a leading law firms in Thousand Oaks to hire an experienced Civil Litigation Secretary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and support high-level attorneys in complex civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal professionals Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence Organize and maintain case files and legal records Track court deadlines and accurately calculate litigation timelines, including pre-trial dates Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances Assist with court filings, including electronic filing in both state and federal courts Support attorneys with discovery processes, including document production and request handling Prepare materials for trial, including organizing exhibits and assembling trial binders Conduct basic legal research and compile supporting documentation Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a litigation secretary in a civil litigation practice Solid understanding of civil litigation processes, court rules, and filing procedures Proficiency in e-filing with both state and federal courts Strong organizational and multitasking skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
