Autumnwood Dental and our sister-service--Puget Sound Sedation Dentistry is a family practice and referral based dental practice specializing in sedation dentistry based in Arlington, WA. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to Provide high quality dentistry using innovation and stellar customer service.

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Obtain X-rays
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments

```Skills```
- Infection control: Knowledge of proper infection control protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Medical documentation: Ability to accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Patient assessment: Proficiency in assessing patients' oral health conditions and identifying any issues or concerns
- Open Dental Software: Experience using Open Dental or similar dental practice management software to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and process billing
- Vital signs: Ability to measure and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
- Medical terminology: Familiarity with dental and medical terminology to effectively communicate with the dentist and other healthcare professionals
- Assisting: Competence in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures, including chairside support and instrument handling
- Medical coding: Knowledge of dental coding systems (e.g., CDT codes) for accurate billing and insurance claims processing
- Dental assisting: Proficiency in providing chairside assistance to the dentist, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort

• DAANCE (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification (Preferred)
• ACLS Certification (Preferred)
