Work Environment

This role is performed onsite in our state-of-the-art hospital facilities that provide the latest therapeutic technologies and resources. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to best meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and rehabilitative activities, ensuring they understand the importance and techniques of each exercise.
• Educate patients about body mechanics and facilitate home exercise programs that promote recovery and minimize risk of injury.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and heat/cold applications under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress in objective terms, tracking metrics like range of motion and strength gains to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain organized treatment areas, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily accessible for therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and motivation for patients throughout the rehabilitation journey, cultivating a positive atmosphere that inspires patient engagement and recovery.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights at all times.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required, coupled with a valid state license or certification.

Compensation and Benefits
