Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Telemetry (TELE) Nurse for a 12-hour night shift position at the medical-surgical neuro unit on the 4th Floor North. The role involves caring for diverse patients including stroke, post-neurosurgery, and other medical-surgical conditions, with an emphasis on team collaboration and responsiveness.

Job Details:

• Certifications and Requirements: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Valid drivers license required at submission to verify outside 50 miles.
• Schedule: Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Care for Med Surg/Tele patients including stroke, neurosurgery, fractures, pneumonia, sepsis, and GI issues. RNs are expected to interpret tele monitors and read assessments independently. Floating to other Med Surg units with Med Surg patients may be required.
• Additional Information: Training includes a 2-day unit-specific orientation. Mechanical lifts are available in some rooms, and there is a focus on hourly rounding, responsiveness, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
