Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides urgent care and life-saving interventions to patients in the Emergency Room setting. Assesses, plans, and implements nursing care to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients presenting with critical and non-critical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and execute appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations, providing life support and stabilization as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all clinical policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with sound clinical judgment.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and fast-paced environment.
