The Nuvance Health Medical Practice (NHMP) Division of Neurosciences is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established and successful Neurology practice located in the new Multispecialty center in Kingston, NY. Job Highlights Provide neurological care to patients with physician collaboration and mentoring Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic studies Manage an independent panel of patients Relay appropriate information regarding patient care to the physician Utilize Cerner EMR to document patient information Interact with clinical and administrative staff for optimal patient care Position is outpatient with rounding at Northern Dutchess Hospital Monday-Friday schedule (8am-4:30pm) Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing NYS Nurse Practitioner License Neurology experience required Working Conditions Manual: Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort.
